About the Presenting Artists(s)
Daniel Jamieson has built an international reputation as a conductor and composer leading concerts, radio and TV broadcasts, and recording sessions across North America and Europe. He has worked with the Metropole Orchestra, Danish Radio Big Band, WDR Big Band, and Swiss Jazz Orchestra, and he is the conductor of the Strathmore Jazz Orchestra. His arrangements have been performed by Joe Lovano, Marcus Miller, Joshua Redman, Kurt Elling, Anthony Hamilton, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Vince Mendoza, Ingrid Jensen, Warren Wolf, Miho Hazama, Rich DeRosa, Darcy James Argue, Sean Jones, and Sara Gazarek, among others. Daniel founded JazzComposersPresent.com, the leading global platform for jazz composition education and professional development. He has delivered masterclasses at Berklee, Manhattan School, Eastman, North Texas, and Frost. Since 2016, he has served as Staff Arranger and Music Producer for The U.S. Army Field Band.
